M100 Foundation’s first grantee, photo-journalist Omar Mullick featured in Foreign Policy Magazine

Foreign Policy is pleased to present this unique and remarkable collection of photographs. When photographer Omar Mullick was in Pakistan, en route to Afghanistan to join the U.S. Marine Battalion 1/8 on Feb. 1, 2011, Basetrack’s embeds were cancelled. Mullick proceeded to make trips in and outside of Kabul, documenting the lives of ordinary Afghans affected by the grim toll of war.
